Refund & Cancellation Policy

Uttarakhand Odyssey Tours  believes in helping its customers as far as possible, and has therefore a liberal cancellation policy.  As the Company will have incurred the majority of its costs (running costs, staffing, administration, etc.) before the tour starts, we need to impose cancellation charges to cover these costs. Payments for bookings must be made as specified during the booking process. 

 

In general cases , a minimum deposit of 50% of the total cost is to be paid by you to Uttarakhand Odyssey Tours . The deposit is required to hold the booking on a confirmed basis. Balance Payment is to be made , 7 days prior to the date of start of services. Prices are subject to change without notice but will be confirmed at the time of booking.

 

Note: Apart from above, in case of bookings for special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year, Pushkar Fair, Diwali etc) full payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

 

1.Refunds are subject to following conditions :

   If you cancel your bookings- 

     30 days or more prior to start of service - 100% of Deposit.

     15-29 days before start of service - 50% of Deposit.

     7-14 days before start of service - 25% of Deposit.

     6 or fewer days before start of service - Loss of Deposit.

Note: Uttarakhand Odyssey Tours  does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. 

     1.1 Refund Processing Time :

           It may take 6 to 7 working days.

 2. Changes to Bookings:

Travellers may request changes to their bookings, such as date changes or modifications to the itinerary, subject to availability and the terms and conditions of the original booking. Additional fees may apply.

 3. Communication: All cancellations must be in writing and be made by the person who submitted the booking form. Please send an email to your contact at the Company, with a copy to  info@uttarakhandodysseytours.in

  

4. Custom Events: Tailor-made tours may be subject to alternative cancellation terms, which will be communicated to applicable Clients at the time of booking.

 

5. No Refund Case : Once the tour has started, no refund for any unused portion or part of the tour or services to be provided will be given. If you want to make any changes to the tour, or depart the tour early, such alteration or departure will be entirely at your own expense and liability. You will also need to communicate in writing to the tour operator your reason for leaving the tour.
